Pastor Jeff started attending Crossroads Ministries in December 2002 with his wife, Leslie, and their two children. He started attending Crossroads for a six month internship under Pastor John as part of the ordination process to become an ordained minister.
After completion of the internship, Pastor Jeff and Leslie felt compelled to make Crossroads Ministries their home. Pastor Jeff served as needed until January 1, 2007, when he was hired as full-time staff as Outreach Pastor.
His duties include overseeing the welcome center and resource center, scheduling staff to help with greeting visitors, following-up with new visitors, and assisting members of the church family in finding a ministry here at Crossroads to become a part of. He and Leslie also lead the Better-N-Better (age group 40 to 50) fellowship group. Pastor Jeff also assists the hospital care ministry as needed.
Pastor Jeff's hobbies include riding his Harley Davidson streetglide, hunting, target shooting, and very occasionally golfing. He is married to Leslie Oldham and they have two children. Leslie sings with the Crossroads praise team and works with the Better-N-Better fellowship group.
Pastor Jeff left Windstream (formerly Alltel) with 28 years of service in December 2006. He served in law enforcement with the Lee County Sheriff's Office for 15 years as a special deputy and also 10 years with the NC National Guard as a armor crewman in the Sanford unit. He and his wife Leslie are licensed real estate brokers with Exit Realty and Associates in Sanford.
