Our Family Life Pastor is Paul Backlund. He is a board certified biblical counselor with the International Board of Christian Counselors and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
He and his wife Kathy are Dave Ramsey trained financial counselors. Pastor Paul is passionate about assisting marriages and families in their journey of discovery of God and His calling on their lives. His desire is for men and women to become the best mates and parents possible following God’s design. Pastor Paul is the author of: As Long As We Both Shall Give: Identifying and Meeting the Needs of Your Mate. His book explores God’s design for relationships and gives unique insight into the specific needs of men and women within marriage.
Pastor Paul and Kathy enjoy riding their Harley Davidson motorcycle and spending time with children and grandchildren.
