Crossroads' Minister of Music is Ryan Barbato.
Under his leadership, the Music Ministry has grown from virtually
no music in the early years of Crossroads, to a full band and
vocals. With a spirit of excellence, Crossroads' Music Minsitry
provides a passionate and energetic blend of old hymns, bluegrass,
gospel and comtemporary styles of music.
Here are some stats on Ryan:
- Grew up in Goldsboro, NC and was very involved at The First Pentecostal Holiness Church
- Led Student Ministries praise and worship
team at First Church (1999 - 2002)
- Moved to Sanford summer of 2002 to join staff at Crossroads as minister of music. (first Sunday was the first Sunday that the church was at the Milton Ave. location)
- Finished an Associate's Degree in music
from Sandhills Community College in spring of 2006 and plans
to continue education and receive bachelors degree in near
future
Ryan married his lovely wife Katie on Nov. 16, 2002. Ryan and Katie have three children.
